I have tried a few popular contours but this one may be the best powder contour.
The formula blends spectacularly especially with the abduct brush and gradient palette. Used this for a couple weeks before writing this, and I never had any harsh lines or patchiness. Also the contour gave me the jawline and cheekbones that you wouldn't have noticed before.
PS: Make sure you get the correct shade! I have a light skin shade (23 for korean cushions) but a warm tone and 01 really didn't do it for me (honestly made me look injured cos of the grey). But 02 is absolutely perfect.
PPS: Contour done in minutes! I reach out for this every single day now 😂
The powder is very fine. When the brush sweeps it, the powder will fly everywhere. thus contouring lines wont be harsh and wouldn’t need to blend so much
The gradient contour effect allows for creating natural-looking shadows that’s absolutely brilliant for makeup beginners/people who are new to contouring. Since there are 2 hues in 1, it also allows selecting a singular (darker) hue to add additional dimensions.
The formula truly blends effortlessly in a single swipe without harsh lines/uneven patches. The undertone is perfect as well; resulting in a natural ‘shadow’ for an immediate “nose job” or “botox” look (with just makeup).
Love using this with the complimenting Abduct contour brushes!
P.S. I have both shades but I like 02 better!
Try out the texture super soft and easy to apply with the brush.. maybe I too fair the colour still abit dark for me.
Love the entire soft sculpt bundle! Super easy to get the hang of it for a person not very good at make up. The brushes helped a lot! I got shade 02 as recommended and I love how it looks super natural on me. Will definitely get it again. :)
I always wanted to contour but didn’t seem to find the right shade. Most powders in sephora are too warm and red which I personally don’t like. This contour is more towards neutral which is great as it won’t look too bronzed not too grey.
The brushes are great too, the first application was a little tough, but once the brush has enough product, it works really nicely. Overall a good purchase for beginners.
